Configure Your Boats & Availability Calendar

Before going live, configure your boats and availability calendar through the Booking Management menu item in your TideSlots AI Booking System to ensure accurate scheduling and availability.

Take Your Agent Live

Taking your agent live is simpler than it seems and shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Choose the method that works best for your situation:

Method 1: Voicemail Replacement (Most Popular)

Perfect for: When you're guiding on the water or in remote areas. Your AI captures every call when you're unavailable, but you can still pick up when you're around.

Compatible Phone Systems: Works with most major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Bell, Telus, and most VoIP services. Also compatible with business phone systems from RingCentral, 8x8, and Nextiva.

How It Works:

These codes tell your phone carrier to automatically forward calls to your AI agent only when specific conditions are met. You'll still receive calls normally when you're available.

Step-by-Step Setup:

  1. Get your AI phone number from the email we sent you after setup
  2. Choose which scenarios you want your AI to handle (busy, no answer, unreachable)
  3. Dial the activation codes below from your business phone
  4. Test it by having someone call you while your phone is off or you don't answer

Conditional Call Forwarding Codes:

Call Forward When Busy: • Activate: *67*[Your AI Agent Phone Number]# • Deactivate: ##67# Call Forward No Answer: • Activate: *61*[Your AI Agent Phone Number]# • Deactivate: ##61# Call Forward When Unreachable: • Activate: *62*[Your AI Agent Phone Number]# • Deactivate: ##62#
Important Notes:
  • Replace "[Your AI Agent Phone Number]" with the actual 10-digit number (include area code)
  • You'll hear a confirmation tone after each successful activation
  • Test each setting individually to ensure they're working
  • These settings persist until you deactivate them
Pro Tip: Start with just "Call Forward No Answer" first to test. Once you're comfortable, add the other forwarding options.
Method 2: All Call Forwarding

Universal Solution: Forward all calls to your AI while keeping your existing business phone number.

On Most Phones:

  1. Dial *72
  2. Enter your TideSlots AI phone number (include area code)
  3. Press #
  4. Wait for confirmation tone before hanging up

On iPhone:

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Select Phone
  3. Tap Call Forwarding
  4. Toggle on call forwarding
  5. Enter your AI Agent's phone number
Method 3: Publish the Direct Line

Straightforward approach: Update your website, Google Business profile, and marketing materials with your new AI voice number. Start receiving customer calls immediately!

Pro Tip: This works great for new marketing campaigns or when you want to track which channels are driving calls.
Method 4: Custom Flows (Advanced)

For business phone systems: If you have Ring Central, Business Connect, or similar systems with IVR features, you can create custom call flows.

Examples:

  • Route calls to AI during specific hours
  • Send overflow calls to AI when lines are busy
  • Create menu options that route to your AI for bookings
